o Encore III Status: According to an article featured on C4ISRNET, the ENCORE III contract has slipped behind schedule according to DISA leaders at a January 12, 2016 AFCEA DC breakfast. Previously stated, the ENCORE III RFP was anticipated to be released during early to mid-January 2016. In the article it does not state a definite time frame for the RFP. As it states in the article, "Encore III ’s delays have been complicated further by the very nature of what the contract provides; DISA officials in the past alluded to wrangling the complexities of providing evolving IT services under a massive, long-term contract that must be able to accommodate emerging technologies. "

Fast Rope Industry Survey on Improving Small Business Government to Industry Engagement with the USAF
This is an unsolicited survey by Fast Rope that will eventually be presented to the USAF SB Office for consideration. I recently attended a Brown Bag with the new AFMC SB Director, Ms. Farris Welsh and her team, and they asked me all these same questions almost verbatim. It got me to thinking about Fast Ropers providing unsolicited feedback to the government as a source of valuable industry input.
This Survey will remain open until 29 Feb 2016. A final summary of the survey will be shared with Fast Rope Members and the USAF SB Office. Responses from Non-Air Force Industry service providers is welcome. Your response will remain anonymous unless you indicate otherwise.
Go to this Survey Monkey link to begin the survey: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/fastrope_USAF_SB_Survey
Feel free to forward this survey to other relative USAF Contractors outside Fast Rope.
One other survey I want to run in the near future is a Federal BD/Capture Salary/Comp Survey similar to what Bob Santmyer ran a few years back with the members. If you have ideas on other Fast Rope Member Surveys you would like to run, please let a facilitator know, or contact me...David Hart directly, www.FastRope.org
Good luck digging your self out of the snow NCR Fast Ropers. Al Mink reported 35 inches where he lives. Dang!!!
