    • ·         Toni Overholser, Director of Business and Community Development at Clark State University:  Clark State offers various business courses to include ISO 9001 and AS9100 training for small businesses, leading to certification via audit.   Certification costs for 12-15 employee businesses typically run about $25K.  Clark State offers a classroom setting with various businesses participating in each course offering and is open to any size business for $9K (you can send the whole business or designated employees).  The training can also be done via webinar for long-distance learning. Three companies are going through the process right now.  George Hummel is the instructor – he actually writes the standards.  Training is done in 12 weeks (every Friday).  Incumbent worker training funds are available via the state – Toni can help you see if your company qualifies (50 percent reimbursement).  Clark State is looking at offering another CMMI course if there is interest – it can be set up any time.   Toni’s contact information is:  overholsert@clarkstate.edu and her phone is (937) 431-7164.
    • ·         David London, Trident:  Lt Gen (Ret) Dick Reynolds shared recently that a third Fisher House is to be built; it will be located at the VA Center.  The Ohio Veterans Museum is being built in Columbus.  They are looking for artifacts for items of interest from Ohio for this museum.   Lt Gen (ret) Jack Hudson spoke about the fourth National Museum of the Air Force Hangar opening to the public on 8 Jun 16.   They are already moving aircraft into the hangar – this is a great key to teaching young people about having a military career.
