    Position Summary:

    Segue Technologies seeks a lead Software Developer to support iBPMS and/or DataVis technologies and associated integration languages. This is a full-time position located at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, OH. The expected start dates is April 16, 2018.

    As lead developer you will be involved in design, development, testing, and installation of Pega PRPC (Pega Rules Process Commander) and related infrastructure. You will be in direct contact with project managers, software engineers, as well as other members of the team.

     

    Job Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    ·         Analyze, design and support implementation of business-specific Pega solutions and/or frameworks

    ·         Support the development, test, and production Pega environments

    ·         Lead the implementation of Pega projects to ensure the implementation is consistent with design decisions, standards and best practices

    ·         Work closely with other IT teams to integrate the Pega system with other existing platforms

    ·         Ensure a systems development methodology is followed and key components such as design, testing, code reviews and technical documentation are completed for each project and make recommendations on any process improvements

    ·         Ability to create reusable components that can be leveraged across the enterprise for providing top-notch customer experience

    ·         Ability to translate complex business requirement into functional technical requirements into well designed, well performing solutions using PegaSystems technology

    ·         Mentor new team members. Assign appropriate tasks to project team members, coach project team members, and provide guidance on development best-practices

    ·         Ability to create reusable components that can be leveraged across the enterprise for providing top-notch customer experience

    ·         Perform regular code and design reviews

    ·         Assist with planning and execution of unit, integration and user acceptance testing

    ·         Provide regular updates team lead and project manager on project progress and outstanding issues

    ·         Design and develop system changes in a manner that supports interoperability with future development efforts and in an open architecture environment, allowing for reuse of common objects across modules

    ·         Additional tasks as required

     

    Required Skills:

    ·         Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT Systems, Engineering, or other technical field or related major

    ·         8-10+ years software development experience

    ·         5-7+ years of Pega ecosystem experience is required

    ·         Understanding of the Pega Smart BPM methodology and the Pega Rules process

    ·         Solid knowledge and experience with SOA Frameworks, Web Services Implementation

    ·         Solid Experience in J2EE, MVC framework, HTML, Java, JavaScript, CSS, XML

    ·         Experience in Object Oriented Programming and design patterns

    ·         Experience in SQL, PL/SQL, Database Design

    ·         CompTIA Security+ certification (able to obtain within 3 weeks of employment)

    ·         Completion of training and certification in PegaRules Process Commander (PRPC) System Architect (CSA); PRPC Senior System Architect (CSSA); Methodology Black Belt (CMBB); and Customer Process Manager Architect (CPM) and PRPC Lead System Architect (CLSA)

    ·         Experience with technical documentation (review, edit, write, and update)

    ·         Ability to work without direct supervision and in a team environment

    ·         Excellent oral and written communication skills

    ·         U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance

     

    Desired Skills:

    ·         Experience working with low code COTS application

    ·         Experience with Agile methodology or Agile/SCRUM certification

    ·         Familiarity with other Business Process Management Platforms/Frameworks: MicroPact, Appian, Qliksense
