    Position Summary:

    Segue Technologies seeks a Pega Certified Senior Systems Architect to support our government clients and provide technical leadership as we develop and expand our Pega business capability. This is a full-time position which can be located at either Segue’s HQ in Arlington, VA or Dayton, OH office.


    Job Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    ·         Collaborate with Segue leadership to analyze new opportunities and provide written technical input for all business capture activities from a Pega perspective and approach

    ·         Support Segue business development in customer meetings and customer communications related to Pega opportunities and engagements

    ·         Advise leadership of technical and business trends related to the Pega platform

    ·         Work closely with Segue technical resources to support new and existing development projects

    ·         Spearhead the design and development of system prototypes

    ·         Understand customer’s system specifications and requirements to facilitate implementation of Pega applications and frameworks on their platform

    ·         Additional tasks as required


    Required Skills:

    ·         Pega certification as a Senior Systems Architect (CSSA)

    ·         6+ years’ experience in customer-focused software development projects (using Pega or other common development tools/languages, such as .NET or Enterprise Java)

    ·         Experience providing technical sales support:

    o   Formulating potential solutions in response to stated customer needs

    o   Speaking with customers to understand needs and requirements in order to visualize potential solutions as implemented using Pega

    o   Advanced understanding of business processes and how they can be realized using Pega

    o   Explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical users in both formal and informal settings

    o   Working with other technical resources to understand required integration points

    ·         Experience leading other system development team members in support of projects

    ·         Experience with team staffing development (i.e., supporting the activities required to expand and grow our Pega capability, including creation of job requirements, candidate screening, hiring recommendations, etc.)

    ·         Agile development experience, including the ability to describe Agile practices and principles to prospective and existing customers

    ·         Knowledge of both cloud-based and on-premises Pega installations

    ·         Ability to obtain a DOD Secret level security clearance

    ·         Excellent oral and written communication skills


    Desired Skills:

    ·         Bachelor's degree in IT Systems, Engineering, or other technical field plus 6+ years of related experience or 10+ years equivalent work experience

    ·         Experience supporting or leading Government / DoD software projects

    ·         Familiarity with DoD DIACAP/RMF requirements and remediation

    ·         Active Secret level DOD security clearance is preferred
