We are looking to hire a Senior Director of Business Development and Capture to lead our federal business development efforts.
Ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of proven success building and growing engagements at DoD and / or DHS agencies.
The selected individual must contribute to all facets of the business development and opportunity capture lifecycle. To support your success, MaxiSoft provides an experienced proposal team, supportive executive leadership, and exceptional past performance.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- A senior-level understanding of the DoD and/or DHS marketplace for technology services with 10+ years of experience
- Significant Rolodex of contacts and established relationships with government customers, and associated primes.
- Experience marketing and selling IT services in the federal market
- Proven consistent track record of identifying, capturing, and winning new federal business for mature small businesses
- Experience supporting all facets of bid, capture and proposal efforts
Other requirements:
- Proactive, creative and high energy individual
- Current active or ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance
- Executive references with demonstrable success from past employment are highly desirable
- Experience closing single-award deals valued over $5M annually.
- Active participation in government-industry forums and associations like AFCEA, INSA, ACT-IAC
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as work within a team environment.
- Candidate' desirable location - the National Capital Region or adjacent geographic area
