Jim has 27 years of providing strategic direction, technology delivery,
sales and account management in the Government Industry. He held
multiple leadership positions in the Accenture Federal practice, helping
grow the Defense practice from startup to $600 million / year in
revenue and the Federal Practice from $300 million / year to $1.4 billion.
Jim led multiple sales and capture teams for his last 3 years with Accenture,
winning over $1.3 billion dollars’ worth of projects across Federal
Civilian, DoD and Intel projects.
Jim was directly responsible for implementation of some of the largest transformation projects in DoD, including the DLA Enterprise Business Systems (EBS) initiative, a Supply Chain Transformation; Army General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) a Financial Transformation program; and Air Force Defense Enterprise Accounting and Management System (DEAMS) a Financial Transformation program. Each of these ACAT 1 programs involved implementation of leading edge technologies, state of the art infrastructure, extensive process improvement and enterprise workforce transformation. Workforce transformation included retraining and reskilling the workforce to implement enterprise business initiatives, change management initiatives to implement new methods of working together and collaboration, and implementation of enhanced labor roles.
Jim currently provides strategic advice to clients to them capture major programs across the Federal Government. Jim works with multiple system integrators, from small businesses to large businesses, to drive their growth agenda through call plan management, capture management and proposal management. Recent wins in the last couple of months have included the National Capital Region contract $240 million infrastructure and sustainment contract, Army GFEBS a $250 million dollar ERP and infrastructure contract, DFAS / DCMA a $142 million dollar contract, and DLA JETS IDIQ a $6 billion dollar IDIQ.
Additionally, Jim plays an active role in the Atlanta technical incubator environments to identify leading edge technologies that are applicable to Federal, DoD and Intel clients and to help position those technology companies with the right clients. He currently is driving the growth agenda for six leading edge technology companies in the cyber, mobile and legacy transformations areas.
