Stephanie Partlow has been working with markup languages and technical publications since 1995. She first began working with SGML and paper publishing as a US Air Force contractor in the AF CALS Program Office, Technical Manual Specifications and Standards group. In this position, she helped to define Air Force publishing processes used to produce standard Air Force technical manuals. After working in this office, Ms. Partlow moved to the production side of the business, working on publishing SGML data for several US Air Force programs, including the C-130, F-15, and F-16. In 1998, Ms. Partlow co-founded TruLogic Inc – a WOSB specializing in markup languages and electronic publishing of technical data. She is now working with SGML, XML, XSL, HTML, and other web technologies to produce Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs) for the US Navy, USAF, USMC, and other customers.
